CHILD AND BABYSITTING SAFETY (CABS)
CABS is a community education program that covers child safety and basic care techniques for infants and children. The CABS program stresses the priority to keep you and the children you care for safe. Babysitting is not just “watching” the children, but being responsible for their safety and well being. When you are caring for a child, you are taking care of a parent’s most prized possession. Everything in their home and your own home can be replaced— everything, that is, except a child. The babysitting course is taught in an interesting, upbeat, and interactive format geared towards adolescents and teens.

This dynamic class is designed for 5 to 7 year olds who have fun learning and making things.  As our kids grow and change, so does our Summer Fun class to enhance their new skills and field of knowledge.

We will explore fun subjects each week through activities, stories, music, crafts, and/or projects.  Our "Wonderful Wonders" box will alow participants to help shape our class by sharing their questions about the wonderful world around us.  Parents may check their child in and go, or stay and play (as long as I know which they are doing).  Participants should wear craft friendly clothing and bring a water bottle marked with their name.

If your child does not quite fit the age critieria but is interested, please contact the instructor to discuss.

Instructor has taught Summer Fun class for the past two years at VVL and has a Fingerprint Clearance card issued by the State of Arizona DPS for working with children.
