FITNESS CHALLENGE SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 20 8:30 AM
The Fitness Challenge is a great way to spend some quality time with your family and friends while being heart healthy at the same time. The 5K Walk/Run/Bike/Blade throughout the community begins at 8:30am and is followed by the Fitness Circuit Challenge and Health Fair. Registration forms are available at the clubhouse.
Thank you to our vendors for the Health Fair are Massage Heights, Gateway Dental, and Backfit Chiropractic & Rehab, Concentra Urgent Care, Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association, Do Terra Essential Oils and SunWise/Original Basket Boutique. We are currently seeking volunteers to help with the 5K, as well as other health and safety minded businesses for the Health Fair. This is a great way to market your business to the Val Vista Lakes Community. Contact to volunteer or for more information.
COMMUNITY GARAGE SALE FRIDAY & SATURDAY, MARCH 26 & 27 7 AM - 3 PM
The VVL community-wide garage sale is set for March 26 & 27. Participants may register by e-mail at
. Registration deadline is Monday, March 15 by noon. A list of the sale locations will be compiled. This list will be available to residents after noon on Monday, March 22 online at http://www.valvistalakes.org/ and at the front desk of the clubhouse. If you want to be on the list, you must submit your name, address and main cross streets. Please include a telephone number where we may reach you when you submit your information. WE WILL NOT PUBLISH THIS NUMBER. WE NEED IT IN CASE WE HAVE QUESTIONS.
When you submit your name and address for the list, you may name up to three items that you will be offering. For example, you may want to list children's clothing, tools, and baby furniture.
The sale will be promoted by a main banner at Val Vista and Lakeside Drive. Additional banners (4) will be placed at select main road entrances. You will want to post specific directional signs leading to your home. (Don't forget to take them down!) Bargain hunters, get ready!
